  1. Drama teaching of Shakespeare suffers from children being forced to study Shakespeare sitting behind a desk. He wrote plays to be performed and enjoyed. Our National Curriculum and ‘safe’ teaching does not help. It makes me so upset when we have to change perceptions before we start to really study Shakespeare at A level and GCSE
